Тема: У світі професій.
Мета:
Освітня: повторити й активізувати вивчений лексичний матеріал теми «Одяг» та «Професії», збагачувати лексичний словник учнів, через ігрові форми забезпечити засвоєння лексичного та мовленнєвого матеріалу;
Практична: практикувати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення, вживання граматичних часів Present Simple та Present Continuous; тренувати у вживанні структуру to be wearing; удосконалювати навички читання, аудіювання;
Розвиваюча: розвивати комунікативні здібності учнів, пам’ять, мислення, увагу, мовну здогадку, фонематичний слух, вміння працювати в парах, створюючи атмосферу зацікавленості;
Виховна: виховувати повагу до людей різних професій, закладати основи професійної спрямованості учнів, позитивне ставлення до іноземної мови, вчити учнів бути уважними та активними.
Обладнання уроку: підручник, демонстраційний матеріал, картки із завданнями, мультимедійний проектор.
Тип уроку: комбінований.

Хід уроку:

I. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.
1. Привітання. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.
T: Good morning, boys and girls!

Good morning, teacher!
T: How are you today?
Ps: We are fine!
T: Are you ready for the lesson?

T: Today we’ll have an unusual lesson. We are going to travel in the world of professions. But first of all let’s train our tongues.

II. Основна частина уроку.
T: You are pupils and go to school now. And when you grow up you’ll choose a profession. There are a lot of professions in the world. And today we are going to speak about professions and places where people can work. But first of all let’s revise the names of different professions. You have pictures with people of different professions on your desks. Your task is to find the names of the professions and put the cards on the pictures. (робота з роздатковим матеріалом)
Check on homework: Let’s check your homework. We were talking about pronounces and their forms: conjoint and absolute. Read your sentences.
This is my dress. – It is mine.
These are their shirts. – They are theirs.
These are your trousers. – They are yours.
This is her skirt. – It is hers.
These are our coats. – They are ours.
This is his suit. – It’s his.
And now look at the screen and name the pictures. (flashcards “Professions”)
People work in different places. Where can they work?

T: Thank you, children. And we have a special guest today. Meet our guest. And you can ask him some questions.
Postman: Hello, friends! I am a postman.
P1: What do you usually do?
Postman: I usually deliver letters and newspapers.
P2: What do you usually wear?
Postman: I usually wear a shirt, a jacket, trousers and I have a special bag.
P3: What have you got in your bag?
Postman: I have some letters for you. These letters are from people of different professions. Take them!
Teacher: Thank you for the letters. Let’s read them! Kostia, would you like to read the first letter?
Letter 1: Dear children,
First of all I want you to guess my job. I like children very much. I like reading books and writing on the blackboard, too. I go to school every day. What am I? ___
Thank you for your answers. I’m a teacher. I know you are very clever pupils and I’d like you to help me. I have a lot of work to do. Could you help me with the tasks?

Teacher: Let’s imagine that we are teachers and do some tasks. The first task is to check up the grammar exercise. You have to find the mistakes in the sentences. You have blue cards with these sentences. Write the correct variants in your copybooks. So, open your copybooks, write down the date.
